In this Blog series i began by comparing politics here and where i come from, with an emphasis on how seriously each one is taken, i talked about how our tendency to accept whatever we are told is true too easily can be dangerous in this day and age and closed by talking about the college experience and how it isn't neccessairly what i thought it was.
It was a good run, and writting each post was fun, but in hindsight i believe i could have done a better job at connecting each post, because they are all related in a way, and after reading each post in sequence even i find it hard to find what they had in common!
the underlying idea i was trying to get across with the 3 posts was about education (at least i think it was, at this point i'm not really sure anymore) not in the school type academic way neccessairly, but specifically the ability to come up with your own thoughts and opinions on something you read or heard, and how college should be a tool for developing this skill and how whether possesing this skill or not affects the individual and society around him.
so, not only did i do a bad job at connecting them, i also wrote backwards!
